Susan G. Komen Sacramento Valley is the local expert on breast cancer.
No other organization has the deep understanding of barriers to care and no
other organization raises funds to bridge those gaps, making access available
to all women regardless of where they live or how much money they make.
Representing 19 California counties throughout northern and central
California, we are able to reach a demographically and geographically diverse
group of women and men. Since 1997,
Komen Sacramento Valley has awarded over $18
million to local health organizations that provide innovative breast health
and breast cancer services not found elsewhere – organizations that directly
serve the uninsured and under-insured. We
could not do the work that we do without our wonderful community partners, Race
for the Cure teams, participants and sponsors.
Our 2015 Race for the Cure Sponsor Brochure offers organizations the
opportunity to show their support in a variety of ways. Your organization could showcase a wrapped
vehicle on the Race route; support a team and help them become one of our Super
Teams and get your logo on the back of our Race T-shirt; or join us in the Race
Expo visited by 10,000 participants each year.
For more information or to schedule at meeting, please email Shannon
Bowley-Shields at shannon@komensacramento.org. Your invaluable support brings us one step
closer to finding a cure for breast cancer.
